Warosia was so popular that was called Mediterranean's Copacabana.

After Cyprus division in 1974 Greek-speaking part of community was forced to leave these territories and abandoned part of the city was created - Warosia.

Currently it's the only one city in the world where for over 40 years nobody has been living. For this reason Warosia it's called Ghoust City.

To currently moment this situation stays unsolved and Warosia territory is enclosed by a fence and guarded by the military. Warning: a complete ban on photography applies here.
