Bialowieza Forest

Białowieża

It is the largest concentration of trees of monumental dimensions in Europe. Oak trees are the largest among trees. Białowieża Oaks impress with their soaringness, variety of habit, majesty and age. The oldest of them sprouted in the times of Władysław Jagiełło, and perhaps even Casimir the Great.
