Program:

Energy, Sky and Sun

An interactive exhibition discovering the truths of nature and the cosmos.

Time machine - man and bullet

A multimedia exhibition taking you on a journey through the history of the fort, which consists of 14 various exhibitions showing the past of Góra Gradowa with the history of Gdańsk in the background.

(ATTENTION! The exhibition is open only until November 4, 2012!)

EDUCATIONAL CLASSES:

Physics: Attention Magnets

Thanks to the use of attractive teaching aids, students will get to know each other

with basic knowledge of magnetism.

Astronomy: With a ruler on Sun

Students will get acquainted with our nearest star. They will learn about the formations occurring on the Sun and measure them on their own using a specially prepared instrument

line for this purpose.

The Solar System through the eyes of an alien

Classes are a journey, starting from the Earth, we reach the farthest corners of the Universe. Students will learn what a planetary system consists of and what conditions prevail on each of the planets.

what does a shooting star have to do with cosmic stones. After the show - workshops on searching for meteorites.

Biology: Ecologically with Energy

During a popular science lecture, students will learn about ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The key element will be experiments presenting renewable energy sources and the production of energy from water using the phenomenon of electrolysis and fuel cells.

Geography: A restless planet

Earth, despite the influence of a long period of time since its formation, is still a turbulent planet. During the classes, seismic phenomena on earth (their causes and occurrence) and violent atmospheric phenomena will be discussed.

History: day in garrison

The classes are to familiarize students with the life of an ordinary soldier from 200 years ago, residing in the Góra Gradowa Fort. Participants will be able to find out what the soldier wore, what he ate, where he slept, how he exercised and how he was treated. The world of the senses: we paint, we smell, we look, we touch, we listen

NOVELTY! FROM 1 X 2012 EDUCATIONAL MATHEMATICS CLASSES FOR GUMNASCHOOL START

SECONDARY SCHOOL:

Physics: two sips of optics

During the classes, students will see experiments in geometric optics. They will learn about different types of lenses, the model of the eye and the phenomena of reflection and refraction

and light splitting.

Astronomy:

Cosmic fireballs, meteors, meteorites

  • The spectrum - a rainbow of information

  • Students will gain knowledge during the course

about the popularly known rainbow. How it is created and what information can be read from it. The spectrum provides us with a lot of information, such as what elements stars are made of. Workshop combined with a show.

Biology: green with energy

During a popular science lecture, students will learn about ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The key element will be experiments presenting renewable energy sources and the production of energy from water using the phenomenon of electrolysis and fuel cells.
