Drive to Cabo Girão, where you can enjoy views from Madeira's highest cliff, visit a banana plantation with the Banana Museum and taste some banana beer. The route takes you through the Paul da Serra plateau and the magical Fanal forests (UNESCO), then on to Porto Moniz to see the natural lava pools. We also visit the fishing village of Ribeira Brava with its historic little church.

A visit to the botanical garden of the former Blandy family estate, full of exotic plants in the style of 19th-century English gardens. Drive up to Pico do Arieiro (1818 m above sea level) with panoramic mountain views and the island’s crown. Transfer to Ribeiro Frio for a peaceful walk along the levada through the ancient Laurissilva forest. We’ll visit the open-air museum of traditional houses in Santana. We'll admire the cliff landscapes of the Saint Lawrence Peninsula and the views of Porto Santo, the Desertas, and the spectacular airport runway supported by 180 columns.
